Another busy month for Sherlockian collectors... As I’ve said before, it’s hard enough trying to keep up with new Sherlock Holmes publications, but it’s impossible to catch up with everything that’s out there. Still, we can but try...
First up a trio of books published after successful Kickstarter campaigns… The Redacted Sherlock Holmes Volume IX with another terrific collection of pastiches from Orlando Pearson. Next is The Case Of The Man Who Died Twice by Ken Courtney, a Sherlockian pastiche novel in which Dr. Watson attends the execution of a man convicted of murder. However, 18 months later the murder victim is found actually murdered... And then the beautifully produced 221B On Her Majesty's Secret Service, a wonderfully written Sherlockian adventure from Mark D. Ellis, which I hope signals the start of a series with many more to come…
Sherlock Holmes: The Dark Detective is back with the first two issues of it's second volume entitle Knights Of Frankenstein from Christopher Sequeira and others… These are excellently produced comics full of bonus material…
Finally, I've acquired three of the four volumes in the Gaslight series collecting weird Sherlock Holmes pastiches in different, but related sub-genres. The first book in the series, Gaslight Grimoire is already on my shelves… Look for a post exploring this series next week…
Until next month be well and keep collecting…

Thanks for the kind words, Paul...I would like nothing better than to continue the exploits of the 221B team. I reckon it's a "wait-and-see" situation for the time being.
